BOYS AND MEN
I think it's when you reach a certain age (or a certain point in your life) when you really start to notice the difference between boys and men.If a "man" has to keep reminding you that he's a "man" by starting off sentences with: "I'm a man, so..", or "As a man, I.." or "I'm a MAN'S man, so.." then YOU AIN'T A MAN YET! Let the actions speak for themselves!
Any loser can come out and proclaim to be this big bag of masculinity, talking the talk about being able to protect and look out for you, but want to use the "I'm a man" line to wriggle out of shit!
I'll be real and say I've been out with a guy who could not deal with not being able to control me. It made him feel less of a man because I was the one asking him questions. It was my house he was staying over at, and my time he was on. TRUTH BE TOLD, I didn't even bloody mind that the guy couldn't take me out anywhere because he had no money - but when I heard that fucking "I'm the man...so as a man..." line for the kajillionth time, I was ready to..LOOK! If you can't walk the walk that comes with the talk, don't bother trying to talk the talk neither! Cause it's foolish and you look foolish! If you can't handle being with a real woman then don't bother getting yourself into nothing. You'll back up on yourself at some point and end up looking like even more of a loser! Your egos will get bruised and your pride will get shattered. Maybe if you spent more time sorting yourselves out there wouldn't be such calamities!
